The Summary

Order Mapper Inc. is a mobile ordering startup founded in 2009. We make it easy for people to order virtually any physical good or service from almost any business from a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. Our cloud-based platform receives, processes, and delivers orders to businesses, providing targeted marketing and promotional opportunities.

Our app ‘Order Pizza’ for iPhone is the largest independent pizza directory on mobile. We’ve fulfilled orders for over 30% of pizzerias in the United States, gaining over 250,000 downloads in the process and placing as one of the Top 100 Lifestyle apps in the App Store.

We secured early investment from 500 Startups (Dave McClure) graduated from Tech Wildcatters (class of Spring 2012), one of the Top 10 business accelerators in the United States, and recently closed a $550,000 Angel round with investment from the Las Vegas Tech Fund, GPG Investments and others. We’ve been featured on TechCrunch, MacWorld, VentureBeat and Geekwire.

Our Team

Jim Bricker (Co-Founder, CEO)

A mechanical engineer, MBA and Microsoft alumnus, the clarity of Jim’s technological vision and understanding of the mobile space has consistently enabled the company to stay a step ahead of the competition. After holding positions at Microsoft and Avanade, Jim was head hunted by a cloud computing startup, where he helped build their platform before founding Order Mapper. Aside from his duties as CEO, Jim is responsible for business development and partner relationships.

Todd Wostrel (CTO)

Bringing over 25 years of technology leadership and development experience to the table, Todd is responsible for Order Mapper’s architecture and development.  Before joining Order Mapper, Todd held a variety of development, strategy, and marketing positions at Texas Instruments and InterVoice, including management and leadership of large teams of software engineers. Todd holds master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Development Team

We’re fortunate to have a great development team.  Allen Gay (Platform Engineer) created the architecture behind our mobile commerce platform.  John Pitocco (Technical Advisor) has a background in IVR and experience delivering web-based client-server software, and Shahryar Khan (iOS / Android) does all our native development work.

Investment and Wins

logo_vegastech The Las Vegas Tech Fund has invested in Order Mapper’s $550,000 Angel round, taking us to our funding target. The Fund is part of a wider $350 million investment project into Las Vegas by Tony Hsieh (Zappos).
We were selected from over 200 companies to be a part of the Tech Wildcatters Class of Spring 2012. Tech Wildcatters is one of the Top 10 accelerators in the United States and was recently featured in Forbes.
We are one of the first three companies to receive investment from Dave McClure / 500 Startups Twilio Micro-Fund.
We were selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists for the PayPal X Developer Challenge 2010 and were praised for the “clarity of [our] business vision and progress over the last 12 months.”
We’ve been chosen to be a Featured Company for SoftLayer’s Catalyst program.
